Designed and manufactured in Australia, the MB2750R delivers 27.8 joules of stored energy and can operate from mains electricity or an external 12V battery. It can also be incorporated into a correctly designed solar-power system.

Thunderbird MB2750R Energiser Monitoring

The digital display shows fence voltage, earth condition, current, energy use and operating mode. This provides useful information about the system without requiring you to repeatedly switch between individual display functions.

A fall in fence voltage or change in current may indicate vegetation contact, a damaged insulator, poor connection, inadequate earthing or another fault placing additional load on the fence.

The built-in alarm can be set to activate when fence voltage falls below the selected level. Alarm-history records allow previous events and their recorded times to be reviewed.

Automatic Power for Changing Conditions

Fence conditions can change rapidly as vegetation grows, rain falls or additional fence sections are connected. The MB2750R’s automatic power-boost function increases energy when the fence requires additional support.

Three selectable power levels and multiple pulse-speed settings allow the system to be adjusted for different operating requirements, battery conditions and fence loads.

Thunderbird MB2750R Energiser Power Options

The supplied AC adaptor allows the MB2750R to operate from mains electricity. The supplied DC lead also allows it to be connected to a suitable external 12V battery for remote operation or backup power.

The energiser can form part of an appropriately designed solar installation. Thunderbird’s catalogue nominates a substantial 12V solar system of approximately 240 watts for the MB2750R.

Optional Remote Fence Control

The MB2750R is compatible with an optional Thunderbird remote-control system. This allows the energiser to be switched off and restarted from the fence line, helping make repairs and fault finding faster and safer.
